We love Jesus. We love you.

New Beginnings Church is a vibrant, multi-generational, spirit-filled, family church placed in the heart of Cartersville, GA to reach the lost, restore the broken and release people into their God-given purpose. We emphasize the role of spirit-led music in our praise and worship and the effect it has for a move of the Holy Spirit. Our goal is to create an atmosphere of worship where love, acceptance, and forgiveness encourages people to pursue an encounter with God and experience the manifest presence of God. The church in its community and around the world is a clear and concise presentation of a New Testament Church empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Our doctrinal beliefs.

The witness of the church to the world is summarized in the following basic beliefs of the Christian faith:

We Believe

  • In the verbal inspiration of the Bible, as God’s only inspired, inerrant and authoritative revelation of Himself to man in written form (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

  • In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. (1 John 5:7).

  • That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary; That Jesus lived a sinless life, that He performed miracles and that He was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor (Matthew 1:18; John 1:1; John 3:16; John 5:28-29; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 4:14-15).

  •  That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins (1 John 2:1-2; Romans 3:23).

  • That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ (John 3:3-7; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Peter 1:18-20).

  • In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost (Romans 6:1-23)

  • Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people (2 Timothy 1:9; 1 Peter 1:15-16).

  • In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart (Acts 19:1-6; Matthew 3:11-12).

  • In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:4).

  • In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 3:20-22).

  • Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement (Isaiah 53:5; James 5:13-15).

  • In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet (Matthew 26:26-30; John 13:12-17).

  • In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 1 John 3:2; Revelation 20:4-6, 11-15)

  • In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked (Daniel 12:2; John 5:28-29).
